Has anyone converted their manual crack windows to power? I bought a set of universal power window cranks of eBay, but the plastic gears that basically raise and lower the windows strip out. I have all the wiring in place and just want to know if I can swap in the power window regulators. Thanks

Hey,
My 1983 F100 XLT only came with manual / crank windows, but I bought these off ebay ( https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/37092662...3ABFBMrLe22LNg)
Then ran power to the doors from the engine bay.
However, I bought these ( https://www.autoloc.com/catalog/Powe...s-All-Vehicles ) so I could use the OEM crank handles. Works well and looks original.
When fitting the new power actuators be mindful that they dont bolt into the same holes as the manual ones. You will see little dimples in the door for you to drill alternative holes.
