1985 Ford F-350 Dually

These are pics of my project truck and what I have started with. Currently it has the motor out getting rebuilt due to the bearing were shot in it. Once get motor back, can redo the exhaust which had holes in it and the headers had connections on it for smog detection attachments which were never removed/welded over and also had sever exhaust leak (so loud!) which made the noise even worse. Someone in the past, had removed and installed a new Edelbrock Carb on top, but never had an air intake filter, which did improve the noise some. Still lot of work to do but getting there.
I do have a question for everyone. I recently removed the old bench seat and am preparing to install one salvaged from a 1984 F250, but when removed the older one in it now, it had a power cable connected to it in back bay center seat belt anchor? I cannot find anything about this cable and was curious as to what it was for if anyone knows?
Thanks for any advice!

Looking forward to posting progress and sharing the journey!

See page 89 here:

Two wires? That would be the switch to signal when the driver's seatbelt is buckled. I always wear my seatbelt, but dislike being nagged by a buzzer to do so. Leave that connector disconnected and the buzzer thinks the seatbelt is buckled.

Wow, Thanks for the tip. I did not know that. Luckily, the new(old) bench seat I am putting in doesn't have any wire coming out of it, so that will be useful to not have to deal with.
Thanks for the heads up!
