U0415:00-2F Code

Son-in-law truck is throwing this code and it’s baffling me. Truck is a 2017 F150 5.0 Any ideas?

It's a 5-year-old truck. Consider having the battery checked. All kinds of strange things happen when the battery gets below a certain state.

Fords have been this way for many years. A bad battery will begin to show in the way the gauges work and the warning lights will act up.

Ok, battery checked out ok but I put a new in anyway because of age. Didn’t change anything. Still scratching my head.

On this I agree. However FORScan is the best tool out there for an individual. But in this case it seems like too much going on and I’m getting too old and ornery (and it’s too hot) to do this now. Thank you guys for the replys. Telling son-in-law to carry it to dealer.

Code 415 is invalid data received from the ABS control module.
All the other functions that depend on or are part of that system are >>complaining/chiming in to tell you about it from the dash screen.
Your just not yet used to too much info being provided by these rolling computer systems on 4 wheels.
Make sense?
I think Forscan may be able put a test on that module.
The readout is only for PCM related functions, not for U codes.
The CAN buss system makes this all possible.

Yes it makes sense!! He has an extended warranty that will probably cover it. Was just trying to save him the $350.00 tow charge. Thanks for the reply
