On my 22, I have an issue where the backup camera will not always zoom when the zoom button is pressed. Sometimes the button is not there. Sometimes the button is there and when you press it you get a beep, but nothing happens, sometimes it works fine. The dealer replaced the backup camera yesterday thinking it was it, but it did not fix it. They told me to try it out for a few days and if it is still having the same issue they'd put in a case with Ford.
Is this something uncommon? Seems like a software issue to me. The rest of the touchscreen is working great. No touch issues, or issues of any kind that I've noticed except this.

Another reply with no solution, but my 2022 F 350 pulls this crap all the time too. I'm no electronics tech but I'd guess a module issue of some sort.
At least now I know I'm not the only one.
My 2021 takes about 2 minutes after restart of the truck for the zoom to start working. Camera works right away but "+" button won't show up for about 1 minute, then it won't actually work until it's booted up for 2 minutes or so. Then it's fine. When I hook up my trailer now I just leave the truck running to work around this issue. Annoying yes.
This isn't a solution, rather just an observation... I see the zoom button every time the camera comes on. I've pressed it once to see how the zoom looks and I was pleasantly surprised with the image quality. However, after zooming into the hitch, the "+" button remained on the screen and there was no way for me to zoom back out. Changing from R to N and back to R resolved the issue, but I wanted to see if what happened was expected behavior. I went ahead and pressed the zoom button again and this time after zooming into the hitch, the "+" turned into a "-". Pressing the minus button returned the zoom to normal.
I'm chalking this one up to crappy software in the Sync system. From my experience since the first iteration of Sync, it doesn't surprise me.. YMMV
I've had the same issue occasionally with no zoom button appearing, or not working when pressed. I'll shift in and out of reverse and eventually get it to work. Its weird.
