good news i found why the truck was throwing all the new codes and going into reduced engine......... the darn connector came undone at the air intake tube. i recently changed the air filter and i guess the connector wasn't clipped fully and vibrated out. the nox sensor code came back but the others didnt and it started regen like it should......

now to research the nox sensor to see what part number it is to start the hunt......

before you go, source the sensors so you can tell them parts are out there. You may have to provide it.

i am searching now for which nox sensors there are and to determine the upstream one to start my search- just slowly sifting thru nonsense to find them......

i was just looking thru the updated '15 book

looks like model year '12 had updated nox sensors

"nitrogen oxides bank 1 sensor 1 (nox11) sensor and nox11 module are mounted before the selective catalyst reduction"

now to try to locate sensor part number and part......
