Digital Engine analyzer Codes
Help! I have a "99 f150 XLT 4.2 liter with an air raid intake system. My service engine soon light came on Thursday and I had it checked out. It gave me a P1151 (manufacturer control -air/fuel metering) code and a P0174 system too lean (bank 2) code and a third code. I can't remember the third code but it said it was my O2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2. I thought the O2 sensor maybe causing the other two codes as well. So on Friday I replaced my post catalytic covnerter O2 sensor. Of course, I unplug my battery when I did this and when I was finshed my service engine soon light did not come on. Today leaving work my service engine soon light came on again!!! I swung by Auto Zone to use their digital engine analyzer. I got the P1151 and P0174 codes again but not the O2 sensor code. What does this mean and how do I fix the problem? Ralph L.

Both of the codes you got are for the front sensor on the driver's side of the engine.
Does the truck run well? No misfiring? No rough idle?
If so I would probably replace the sensor and retest it.
