'50 F-1, I have taken all of the screws out of the door and I cannot get the mechanism out. The handle is off but there appears to be something holding it in place. Suggestions would be apricated. It is broke and useless so damage is not a problem

Well that sucks. Did you disconnect the window from the regulator? There's only a few screws holding the regulator in. Often folks sprayed undercoating into the door, perhaps something like that it holding it.
Window is not even in the vehicle. The regulator is broken where the crank goes into the mechanism. I looks like someone forced it and broke everything. I have a replacement if I can get this one out.
The window regulator is tuff to remove and it will only come out in one position and the door latch has got to come out first. I went through this too so be patient.
