Crossing fingers this last go round resolved my issue. After removing both Hot side and Cold side and then reinstalling everything I unplugged both batteries for 15 mins. Then took a 65 mile test run. As of this message no CEL.
seems like a good time to just unplug the egr and tune
sucks tho. i agree, upgrading the charge pipes is a fantastic upgrade.
believe me I've been doing my research on all that. I do live in CA so there is that. On the bright side, I do live in a SMOG Exempt county so I don't have to smog it every two years. Have no intent on selling either so that's a plus.

I don't remember if it was suggested/recommended for the CAC pipe, but I do know that it was recommended to disconnect the batteries when swapping out my CAI for the S&B kit. I can say that I didn't disconnect the battery when changing out my CAC pipe though, and I have never gotten any CEL. Hope the disconnect was all it takes to correct yours!
CEL came on while driving into work. Guess I need to actually start looking at a stuck EGR valve. Not sure how bad it'll be to drive on it this way so I'll park it till I can figure it out.
Decided to take the truck to work and see if cleaning the MAP made any changes. Well it did but not in a good way. First thing I noticed was my Boost Gauge is now showing maxed at 40 psi. I am assuming I damaged it in the cleaning process.
