Wait Time Prediction

My dealer put together some FAQ’s. They have been good at communicating with customers in a no BS type of way. I found the one about the Super Duty (#4) interesting. I assume their figures take into account not being able to order one for a few more months. I’m not sure, but either way, Wow! I feel fortunate that it only took 5 months for my Super Duty, but I’m in month 4 of unscheduled clean status on a Ranger order. When will the pendulum finally swing toward things getting better instead of worse?

Placed my order on 11/03/2021, and it landed on 05/10/2022.
Unsure on what they have been getting, but two years seems unrealistic, seeing as how the next MY come out pretty soon after the previous.

Sadly I think at this point it is largely political like gas prices. No telling when they will take their thumb off of our economy. I think it gets a fair amount worse still before it gets better. Really anybody's guess though...

Inflation and higher interest rates are gonna slow demand. Free money encourages irresponsible spending...

“demand” is a relative word. Ford keeps saying “due to high demand” but reality is they are having trouble delivering even 2/3 of last MY volume (many of the reasons are not their doing,of course) so the “demand” is artificially defined at where they stop taking orders to make you believe it’s too many people wanting ford products.
