My truck 05 f250 6.0 is really dogfish ( slow acceleration and sometimes blue smoke as well as high rpm shifting point on the trans) when not up to normal operating temps .
I get no codes.
Runs good when at operating temp.
Anybody have a suggestions
I was thinking injectors also. Might be time to pop all 8 out and reseal them
or it the money is not an issue a set of reman Ford injectors.
But before I spent the funds on a full set some data monitoring should be the first step.
I would look at the OBD2 setup from Forscan and also run the uncompensated power balance test.
Do it both cold and at temp. The AutoEnginuity is one to avoid as it does not do a good job reporting injector issues.
It tends to let bad injectors pass with a report that they are good.
