Helm Inc sells the "official" service DVD. Owner Manuals, Service Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, Service Bulletins - Helm Incorporated Service manual and all wiring diagrams are included. What's missing is the parts lists. Haven't been able to find that anywhere other than a $2K/yr subscription.

It comes on a CD-ROM? Wow, I haven’t owned a computer with a cd drive for almost 10 years. What’s wrong with a pdf?

I know, that seems old school. Fortunately I still have a couple of computers that still have DVD drives, but at least you would think they would deliver it on a thumb drive instead.

I'll take a shot in the dark here and assume it is a PDF. And the reason for a CD-Rom is security. Some organizations may have thumb drives blocked for use on computers. For example most hospitals now do not allow thumb drives to be used because they can introduce viruses, malware, etc. I know this first hand and it's been a long time since I have seen a service manual for medical equipment come on a thumb drive.

Nope. Not for the 2021 at least. It's 1990s technology with a mixture of PDF, ASP pages, HTML pages and SVG diagrams. You actually have to install outdated Adobe SVG viewer software to get the wiring diagrams to work. It's the same TSO software Ford service lanes use without the timelock.
Usually you can buy expired Ford TSO cds on eBay. Utility called RunNow can be found on the internet to take care of the time check and the CD runs fine. I just wanted one that I didn't have to jump through hoops for so I bought the Helm one. Probably won't the next time as they are relying on being the only source for factory manuals to sell crap that they haven't updated in 20 years.
