Dash wiring issues.

So two weeks ago the "ground junction" decided to melt inside my dash, and by doing so it melted to multiple other wires. Anyway long story short I rewired most of everything back together, but I have left over wires and no clue where they go. The wires consist of: a white wire with a dark blue stripe, and a thick black wire with a orange stripe. That one runs from the starter relay on the fender to the fuse box and then it goes somewhere else but I can't find were it's supposed to go. It's labeled "Power supply to battery" and "circuit 38a" on a few diagrams but that doesn't tell me where the wire goes. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Fat black with orange stripe goes to the ignition switch. If memory serves me right it splits into the two solid yellow wires that feed it power.

Do yourself a favor and get an EVTM for your truck, it will be well worth it!

Here's the problem. I have that part hooked up, it's the other side thats in the dash that isn't hooked up. One end goes into the fuse box, one end goes to the starter relay, and I have this one end leftover

Does your blower motor run? I think I was wrong about the ignition switch, I better remember this today and that wire is black/Yello. This fat black/orange could be the power supply for your blower motor. Nor much in your dash would need such a heavy gauge wire, really there's just one thing that does.
