Front Disc Brake replacing drums ?
I have 1972 f100 with drums all the way around, a friend has a 1980 f150 with front disc brake , said I could have them. Wondering if the 1980 front disc brakes be put on a 1972 ? I haven t been able to find anyone or the web saying you can or cannot. Thanks f1butcher

You haven't looked very hard then, because this info is everywhere.
You can use the rotors off the 80, nothing else. Rotors were the same 73-92
You need the components from a 73-79. Or an aftermarket kit. But 73-79 trucks are still pretty easy to find.
