Key Fob

So my key fob stopped working. I can lock and unlock, but remote start and alarm feature doesn't work. Tried swapping the batteries and same thing. Spare fob works as it should.

Are Fobs covered under factory warranty from ford? Truck is 2020, but was bought new in 3/21 and has about 16k miles now.

Not a Super Duty, but my wife's key fob for her Explorer was replaced for a similar reason and was covered by warranty.

I haven't had an issue with my Ford but my wife's accord had an issue with her fobs and they were also covered.

I’m not sure if this is what you meant but did you swap the batteries with new ones or did you swap the batteries between fobs.
