I'm in the "if it fits & the plugs match, then what could possibly go wrong?!" camp, but for the same or just marginally more money, you could get a brand new unit that is guaranteed to work. Check out Crutchfield.
Can you please explain, the plugs in the back are the same.
Thanks,
MALO
The ad clearly says it's for 2006. Why did you buy it? In 2013 Ford went to Sync2 and got rid of the brick. The brick is the radio you posted. Will it work, I don't know. If you plug it in and you let the smoke out it will be money wasted. It's your truck and your money, but if it were me I would get a known compatible radio.

I didn't buy anything yet, I was just asking if one as this would work ???
You will need a sync adapter for aftermarket installation, and pre sync factory radios won't work with the stock sync either. If it is a double DIN opening, there are quite a few replacements that are decent radios. I installed a Kenwood with Garmin nav in my 2012, and uses a Maestro Sync/steering wheel adapter to tie the controls in with the radio.
These are everything needed to add radio, Sync, Nav and Sirius XM.
