start with the basics...check for spark, check for fuel. if you aren't familiar with working on your engine..reply back and you will get all the info and then probably more from the people here. Great bunch and very knowledgable.
If you don't find it BillyBob's way, buy a $12 Haynes manual and read the Troubleshooting section before Ch. 1. Then read the rest of the book - it's a lot quicker than waiting for replies here, and covers most of the stuff you'll need to know.
Well, if you ignition module is out....it is a cheap Fomoco part to replace to get it going.....less than $30
replace this and if no go....then check fuel psi....(you can do this on the EFI line harness, there is a plug like the air valve on our tires...the psi guage should screw into this orofice.....and turn the key on....)
if too low then chances are the pump is out....there are two...the low and high psi pumps....and the rear is a royal beyoch to replace.
Use fomoco parts too.....they last much longer....
if fuel pumps are the culprit, change fuel filter as well.
On mine it was a red wire that was bad inside one of the harnesses that are on the driver's side wheel well. So trace wires before spending money on parts.
