Gear ratio change

Hey guys! I have a '79 F150 4x4 with 35" tires and 3.50 stock gears. I would like a lower gear ratio. I do mostly street driving and some off-road (snow and mud). I live in the hills so I do climb some hills on the highway coming home and the truck is constantly down shifting. The engine is the 400 and the axles are the Dana 44 and the 9". With the tire size what do you guys recommend for a gear ratio and how much can I expect to plunk down at a shop to have both axles done? Thanks for your help

I knew a guy who ran 4.10s with 35s he said it was the perfect combo. As for cost, I have no Idea I would call a couple places to see what they have to say.
