2000 Excursion Limited
V10
4x4
Primary use is towing 30’ travel trailer
New to the forum, apologies if this has been asked before, I tried to search old posts but didn’t find much.
I’ve had my Excursion for only a month or so, and after getting some work done on the front end and just getting her tuned up, I will want to start working on the interior. The driver and passenger seats have the classic cracking and the second and third rows the leather is not in bad shape but is really stiff.
Does anyone have any good options for inexpensive seat covers that fit the seat style of the 2000? I have found options (like the Seat Shop) that look great but I don’t want to spend hundreds. Yet when I search online or Amazon all of the styles are for the more modern seat styles with the removable headrest (for the front seats).
Good luck, quality cost money and if you're trying to cover three rows of seats with quality covers, a couple hundred just ain't gonna get it.
If you do find something , please post up and let everyone know (I paid like $1200 for seat covers from the company linked below, expensive a heck yes, but they're freaking awesome).
For the fronts you might be farther ahead to find seats out of a newer superduty from a junk yard. Many are a direct swap with no mods.
I've been toying with the idea of swapping out the interior of my 04 with either the 08-10 or 11-16 and I haven't been able to find anything at junk yards that's not $$$$. For instance, there's a complete King Ranch interior in good condition from an 08 and they want $5,500 for it. Another yard has the Cabelas seats and they want $3500 for them alone. I was hoping to get out for around $3k but that doesn't seem likely so it might be seat covers/skins for me.
I’m in the process of refreshing my 03EXV10. My front seats are cracked as well, 2nd & 3rd rows are perfect. But before I redo the interior I need to do a few other things. I found some covers on Amazon that were in my price range for temp use. They look good and will hold me over for now. These may be an option for you at least for the 1st row.
