Code 332 issues

So I’m having trouble with my 93 f 150 5.8 4x4. I can’t figure out the egr code troubles. I replaced the exhaust tube, found a vacuum leak and fixed it. Tried another sensor. Cleaned the egr, which was not dirty in the slightest, and after a few seconds into driving, usually after as soon as I actually pull onto the road and take off or if I rev it hard the check engine light comes back on. But is never on when I first start it or if I just let it idle, no matter for how long. Just seeing if someone maybe had this problem or have heard of this from somewhere. I have read many threads and watched many videos. Pretty much check all the normal issues. Reset the computer. The only thing that was done to it by my grandpa many years ago was the exhaust. He straight piped it and removed the catalytic converters but they left the o2 sensor intact. The air pump hose from the catalytic converter is still there but isn’t doing anything. That’s just some more information for better prospective. Thanks guys. I’m new to this truck so I’d love some insight. Have worked on it a little myself and plan on doing a lot more to it on my own.

332 = Insufficient EGR flow. The only way your truck can measure this is via the EVP sensor on top of the EGR valve. So, it does not know if the EGR valve is flowing exhaust or not (as the code definition implies), it only knows if the EGR valve is opening and closing when it calls for that.

If you have already replaced the EVP sensor, then I suspect you do not have any vacuum going to your EGR valve. The first thing I would check is your vacuum lines that feed the EGR solenoids on the left side of the engine. The last 332 code I serviced, the hose feeding the EGR solenoid was plugged up.

That is the wrong definition... there are several depending on the vehicle in question. In this case the definition would be.. "EGR opening not detected" which suggests no vacuum is being applied to the valve when the computer commands it, and that could be because of a cracked or broken vacuum line or an issue with the EVR solenoid under the coil. The vacuum line between the solenoid and valve goes around the back of the motor in a loom so it cant really be visually inspected, but if vacuum is applied at the solenoid end(attach a piece of rubber hose and suck on it.. or use a vacuum pump) you will see immediately if the line is intact or not.

That’s the issue, I fixed the vacuum leaks and checked the vacuum all the way back to the manifold using a vacuum tester. Just can’t seem to figure it out. I guess I can go back through and check it all again. Just wondering if anyone knew what else could make the code still be popping up. But I am still reading the same fixes that I have tried. Maybe I’ll just do a egr delete and see if that works haha. 🙏
