So I scored a set of 20 inch 2017 Good tires and I think the wheel would look great on my truck. Already have upgraded (newer) front assembly and the nicer mirrors from a 2012
platinum F250 wheels. Just left the shop trying to swap to my 2002 excursion. These wheels have no center caps and have chrome lugs. After finding out I would need wheel spacers I tried to order flat chrome studs 14 x 2 with no luck. The factory ones for the platinum wheels are 14 x 1.5. Anyone come across this and figure out how to overcome it? At this point I have ordered 2 inch spacers with the 14 x 1.5 studs. Hoping that the flat washer that came with my truck can be used to mount the spacer
I was able to put 2021 f250 wheels on my Ex with the stock lug nuts. I ordered a set of14 x 1.5 ones just to keep the look updated, The 2" spacers must be hub-centric, not lug-centric.
So I ordered 2 inch spacers that are 125 mm hub centric spacers with the 14 x 1.5 studs so that I can use the chrome lug nuts that came with the new wheels. I am assuming that will work but I will find out Monday when they arrive

“front assembly” meaning updated sheet metal and grille or meaning upgraded to the more modern coil front 4x4 suspension?
The chrome lug nuts not fitting the ‘03 and older trucks is also an issue for folks with the ‘04 Harley Davidson 18” wheels, which have exposed lug nuts. Some have found F-150 Harley chrome nuts that have the correct thread pitch for the older trucks.
Grill, bumper, lights , decorative components. Hood and fenders are the same. I think I solved my wheel issue by ordering 2” spacers with the right stud. Can use the 2017 exposed lug nuts and the adapter will bolt with my factory steel lugs
Couldn’t be happier with appearance and ride. Michelin LTX A/T2. Almost no road noise.
2” spacers that are hub-centric with the newer 14-1.5 studs. Quick and easy swap.
