Exclamation Which would you rather have!!

I was just wondering if you guys would rather have a fast street truck like the lightning, or a big lifted truck with huge tires and alot of power!!!

Personally I would go for the big off-road truck!! It is more practical for me. I live in the desert and a street truck would just plain get stuck!!

Please explain why you would choose your choice!! THanks.

I want a BIG truck cause chicks look cool driving them.
Unfortunately, except the Bronco, all I have is regular POS's.
(Got oversize tires on the Bronc, it's a start I guess)

I would like just a fast street truck. With my work that isn't an option. A decent 4x4, is all I need for work, but I don't think I would want anything lifted more than 4" (as I am lifting mine 2"). As for the power, don't need much more than my strait six for the work truck.

The big 'ol fat 4x4.

The reason is simple: it's fast too.

Ask Proleiator (or however he is spelled) if his big red Ford doesn't have a whole shot that'll leave your pucker factor up around a 9.5 or better for ~several~ seconds.

Actually I would like to have one of each, but since I already have a 4x4 the Lightning is tops on my list. And as long as I'm dreaming... I want an '04 model with a manual tranny.

On my summertime trips, there is nothing worse than getting stuck behind a line of campers, driving 45 then 64 then 55, etc.

The idea of safely passing as quickly as possible turns mah crank something fierce. Besides, thats one cool looking truck! Heck...I'd even take an 03 or earlier with an automatic, but I don't really consider myself a shiftless kinda guy.

I'll take the Lightning! A 4x4 would be a waste for me as I hardly even hit a dirt road.

I voted for the big and lifted truck, with lots of HP.
When I got this truck, I could've gotten the lightning, mustang, etc. but I chose the "big rig". Why, cause it's BIG

BIGGER is always BETTER!!! people always ask me why i have/need such a big truck..and i reply b/c i can do anything i want unlike you with your itty bitty car. only things i cant do is park in vertical garages and tight spots. other then that im good to go all 4 seasons of the year. nor rain, sleet, hail or snow, i know i will always be able to get around. then i laugh when nobody can leave their house in a snow storm b/c they have 2wd cars.

just a regular POS because it doesn't cost much, and I am cheap. Or frugal.

Not enough choices but for the street it would defineately be the lightning. If I still lived where I needed a 4x4 I would choose that, but running down the highway in a jacked up 4x4 with big howling tires just seems retarded to me. The loose knit bunch of guys I used to offroad with called them pavement pounders . None of use were rich enough or foolish enough to take a late model out boondocking. We all had beater 4x4s for that.

I like the fast street scene myself, but I wouldn't want a lightning. I'd rather have a V6 truck, fixed up to be faster than a lightning.
