It's time for some work...

After 370,187.5 miles it is now time for the girl to get some needed work done. Leaking injector cups has started me on this new quest. Below is a list of mods done by the po as well what I did myself, along with what is going to be done this month.

I have had the pleasure of owning my X since 2010. I bought her with 174,000+ miles and the po already had the following mods done:
4" MBRP turbo back exhuast
AFE Magnum FORCE Cold Air Intake
DP tunes

In 2019 the HPOP failed so I did the following:
T500
New HPOP lines
AFE Momentum HD Cold Air Intake (not sold on this yet and it may change)
Hutch mod
Fuel bowl rebuild
New boot kit w/ new clamps
New IPR
New ICP
High flow fuel fittings
AIH delete

Being I'm diving in to replace the cups the following will be done cuz I don't want to go back in for anything that I can take care of now:
New cups (the start of this drain on my bank account lol)
New sticks
KC300x Stage 2 turbo
New custom Hydra tunes
SS braided fuel lines
FRx
New UVCHs
6637 (not for sure yet but again I'm not sold on the Momentum intake)
Either a new non EBPV pedestal or delete the stock one (not sure of the route I'm going to take)
Full coolant flush and replacement of all associated hoses (fuel does nasty stuff to those, ask me how I know )
CCV vent kit
Bellowed up pipes

I see many fun times ahead and will update this thread with the progress made or lack thereof . If anyone has any input, feel free to let me have it. If there is anything else I should do while having fun with the ensuing mayhem please let me know.

Travis

It can be done, I just went through a whole top end refresh, injectors, cups, harnesses, valve springs, valve spring shims, hoses, IPR, new turbo, pedestal. and more I think.
I would research the KC turbo to death, and ask others about performance, I started with one, it didn't perform as advertised for me, and there were fitment issues. I only had about 50 miles on it when I pulled it and put the original one back on. They wouldn't accept a return, or exchange for another model.

Thanks for the heads up on your turbo issue. Can you divulge what issues you were having with it? You can pm me the details if you would rather.

Thanks

I need some help please. I posted this to my thread in the 7.3 forum but I'm sure my issue is x specific being it has the auxiliary heat/ac in the rear. Below is the first of the 3 questions I have. Thanks in advance.

1. This may be x specific due to having the auxiliary heat/ac in the rear however when I removed the heater hose lines from the connectors I didn't take a pic of the routing of the two hoses. One I know goes to the passenger side front of the engine and the other goes to a T that goes to the heater core in the dash. I just don't know which is which. If anyone knows or has an x with the 7.3 can you let me know the routing please, or send me a pic? Below is a pic of the two lines the hoses attach to. I can't find a diagram for the x anywhere.
