Unless the cab bushings are new, I would replace them all at the same time. I used the Prothane poly ones on my 4x4 but not sure what is better than what. This is the first time I have replaced bushings and its on a resto.

Did you use the existing hardware?

No. I couldnt get my hardware to separate from top and bottom. I also couldnt find any replacement hardware for my truck so I had to make it all. My truck is a 72 f250 4x4.

Have same truck, and need the same thing.
CJpony and LMC both have them. Cant vouch for quality as I havnt ordered yet. They both run about $50. Unfortunately, being in Canada, shipping cost more then the product so waiting till I need more stuff to make it worth it.

I used polyurethane on my 1970 f100 4wd cab and radiator mounts. They are hard. For my '70 f100 2wdI am building I bought the Steele products kit because they are real rubber and are softer and come with the all of the hardware. Expensive? Yes, but the 2wd will be my daily driver and I believe this will give me a better ride.

I would go with the rubber replacements from my experiences, and yes. softer for better vibration absorption.
