69 f250. My inside door handle slips and doesn't unlatch the door. The handle has been replaced but the issue remains. It opens fine with the exterior handle. I don't see a part listed from any of the big name parts suppliers. Any idea on what I need before i take the door apart?
Is it a lever or paddle? A 69 should have a paddle style release inside the arm rest. If it is a lever, you have a 67 style, which would be a totally different set of problems.
I have seen problems with a paddle style handle when the door panel wasn't seating correctly or when the panel was replaced with thicker material and the pin on the paddles didn't hit the release lever correctly.
