Reverse camera trigger

1994 F250, E4OD.
Reading directions to install a backup camera. It has a wire coming from the RCA plug that is for the "monitor trigger". Based on its length, I am assuming it is somewhere in the cab.
Any idea where?

Thanks

Probably needs to come off the same connector that goes to the MLPS, and toggles the reverse lights, when you put the transmission in reverse.

I appreciate the@SFaulken , but, could you be more specific? Which wire. I am not very familiar with the MLPS switch.
Thanks

I have no idea. I don't own anything with an E4OD, nor do I have a EVTM for a truck with one. I'm sure one of the guys here does, and will chime in when they've got a minute.

There is a connector behind the parking brake assembly for auto dimming mirrors and illuminated vanity mirrors, that should have a branch of the the back up light circuit for the mirror. The correct wire should be black with a pink stripe if I remember correctly. The connector is unused on most pickups, and would be a good location to tap the circuit. Subford or one of the others should be able to confirm.

Do you mean behind the kick panel? Or an actual wire connection tucked up on the dash behind the parking brake?

It is behind the driver side kick panel, behind the parking brake assembly.
