Anyways, could someone point out the switched hots where there is easy access under the dash? Specifically the switched ignition hot? I own a 97 f350 crew 4x. I already have the headlights hot from the previous auto meter gauges. For some reason the glowshift gauges require additional wiring.
DC 12V neg ground is about all you need to know. There is nothing to it. Your radio has a switched 12V for example, power windows...you can find these with a simple test light that runs about $5.
