VIN DECODE for 66 ECONOLINE PICKUP

Hi there.
I am new to this forum and will thank you all in advance for any assistance that you can provide me.
I have an Econoline that is registered 1965 but I suspect that it is a 66.
I am unsure how to decode the VIN etc.
My VIN is: E10AH805694
I'm especially interested in what engine and transmission it has.

Welcome to FTE! I put your VIN in here and it says you have a 240 six. You should have a 9" rear axle iirc. No transmission info in the VIN.

Econoline Identification (VIN Decoder)

If you have a 3 on the tree, it is probably a Ford "303" all synchro transmission.

If you have an automatic, it is probably a Ford C4 3 speed auto.

You are correct. Built January 1966 as a '66 model. Lots of info at econoline.org.

Hey happened to stumble across your post about looking to buy an Econoline. I know it was from late last year so no worries if you already found one. We have one we are looking to sell. 1966 Econoline Falcon Club Wagon, we have the title and even the original owner’s manual. It’s in needs lots of work condition but is very cool and rare with 8 doors and bubbled out windows.
Im still working on pics I can send if you interested let me know.

E10 = E100 Econoline Pickup

A = 240 1V I-6

H = Lorain OH Assembly Plant

805694 = 1966

TRANS, AXLE and etc. codes stamped on the Warranty Plate, riveted to the left door face below the latch.
