help decoding and finding interior pieces

So according to my door tag as far as I can tell the interior code on the decoder site says "red". But to me while the dash metal looks to be red, the door panels and dash pad I am thinking were originally "Maroon" maybe? Also the door panels are multi-colored..any idea where I can find those for purchase or would I have to paint them myself? Attached are the door tag and pics of the interior...the final picture is what I imagine this looked like when new.

I bought a brand new 79 F150 SWB 4x4 in that color and I love it still . wish I still had it.

SD, is red vinyl. but in some years it's more maroon . but Ford calls it red. I'm not sure you're going to find many parts that color match it if that's what you're after.

The first piece I am definitely going to flat-out replace is the dash pad because mine is cracked beyond repair. I am assuming the correct color would d be Maroon for that piece.

Looking online it appears for the multi colored panels I am going to have to tackle that by trying to paint it myself

Are you concerned about the originality and want to stay with the OEM color set up? Because a black dash pad IMO will make the other interior colors pop and that color is way more common.

I am not necessarily "concerned" with the originality, but I do like the look of it and like that it is a bit different. My current dash pad is so filthy and worn I thought it was black for a minute, but when i look closer it is definitely a dark red color...I am jus tnot sure if "Maroon" is the right color...but I am not finding a dark red pad anywhere

Most people called it maroon. but Ford lists it as red. there is no there maroon except this one that I've seen so you're probably safe to assume that's it.

I didn't know you could get an Explorer Ranger. Thought they were one OR the other, but never both.
If that's incorrect, then it's great to find out.

What badges are where?

Yes looks like a Explorer Ranger was a model available. And medium red was used in the interior. The hood has the (Explorer) hood emblem and the Explorer badge on the bed side below the back side marker, below the "dent".

Like we always say, learn something new every day!
I've seen plenty of both, but never seen one with both. Very cool.

I've picked up a couple of the Explorer rear bed badges over the years to put on my '79, but so far they're just in the drawer waiting to see daylight again.

I decided to get a Maroon dash pad and tackle the panels myself. Burgundy is about the closest interior paint I could find locally and I ordered some SEM paint online for the armrests and panel inserts. For my first time ever painting interior panels it came out pretty good so far.
