I am just showing off a little. This is my 75 F100. She is a 4x4 with a 390 mated to a NP435. I have been working on this for probably about 6 yrs; maybe longer. This was a complete frame off.

There have been snippets of this project posted here on FTE. I wish I would have done a better job of documenting my progress to show the progression of things. If anyone is interested you can find lots of things I have done by searching threads I started.

My intent was never to stay original. I love the look and feel of these trucks but there was room for improvement. I wanted to update it, make it mine and improve the drivability of it so maybe the misses can drive. I’m not going to be upset if she never does though.

I tried to keep this thing as ‘Ford’ as possible. There are plenty of aftermarket parts here but I have used a significant amount of Ford and Dennis Carpenter, and OEM vendors such as spicer. Every part used has a Ford application. As much of this as possible is reconditioned original Ford parts. It’s going to be hard to put a percentage of oem parts but it’s up there. That is important to me. Of the parts that aren’t, the majority are American made. Also very important to me.

I have a little ways to go but have been making good progress recently. If I had to guess, 9-12 months out. The end of this year is what I’m pushing for. The little crap is what I am in the thick of right now. I am saving the engine for last; that’s mostly bolt on and go. We shall see. If anyone has any questions or comments I’d appreciate the responses. It really helps to keep up the motivation. So does seeing it come together…
