IPC SENSOR FOR 2003 6L
Need to know where I can get a IPC sensor for my 2003 6l. Build date on driver side door is 11/02.
The IPC sensor i got from NAPA has the wrong thread size.
Any idea where I can get the right one?

For starters you should be looking for the ICP.
Part #3C3Z-9F838-EA for 2003 not to be confused with 4C3Z-9F838-A for 2005-07,

The 04.5-07 and up ICP will also fit in your truck (ie both part numbers above will work). Many people used the 04.5 sensor in their 03 engines, because in the early days, they were a little more reliable than the 03 sensors. Now, who knows.... but probably there is little difference in reliability.

I have one of the newer ICP's, I have tried it in both of my 03's and it threw codes in both. And so I never kept it in long enough to determine if it was more reliable in terms of leaking oil. Never did notice any difference in terms of performance.

The one from NAPA lokked right in all respects except for the diameter of the threaded part. Even had the right threads just wrong diameter (too big). Spent 2 days trying to get the part to start screwing in only to find out that there was a size problem. I ASSUMED the part from NAPA was right as it passed the eye-ball test.
