Power Seat Mystery

2013 Lariat with 10 way power seats. Pass. seat works in all functions except the forward/back adjustment only works when someone is sitting on the seat. Drivers seat goes all ways without a passenger. All contacts have been cleaned including the inside of the switch panel. Has anyone had this issue? Am I missing something here?

can you sit in the seat and help "PUSH"...... maybe the motor is getting weak, or rack/ gears need cleaned and lubed ( remove seat)
