I use Racor or OEM fuel filters, but the change interval is not the 15,000 (recalling from memory) that the manual calls for. I keep an eye on the fuel pressure gauge from time to time and if it starts to come down a couple/few PSI I change it with the spare I have on hand.

Never heard of Docs and I don't watch commercials or listen to ads.

Interestingly the topic of filters came up yesterday on the RV forum, apparently all the major filter manufacturers put some sort of expiration date as to shelf life on their filters, and certain filters can begin to break down after time. When a reputable filter supplier gets backed up with filters close to expiration they wholesale them out to 3rd party vendors meaning you could end up with old or expired filters when buying online at bargain prices. Quite a while ago I loaded up on fuel filters and shortly after that I began driving my truck less due do acquiring more vehicles, then with Covid I barely used it at all. Long story short I will only buy from a reputable source in the future, not stock up and check dates. Today I am going to dig out my stock and look for dates.

I realize that this thread is old but with the recent price increase in Motorcraft filters I have been seeing a lot of listings for Doc's Diesel stuff particularly on Amazon.

Anyone out there have any recent experience or more info on these Doc's products?
