Hello Ford Fans!
Back in a Ford again after a while. I previously joined to get info on an 87 F250 460, replaced the carb, modernized the charging sysytem, etc. Well I moved to California and had to sell that truck (it wouldn’t have passed emissions). Had a 95 z71 for a while, then sold that to got more seating room and had a 2004 Expedition. I traded that in on a new car for the wife, when the gas tank developed a crack. Tough to find replacement tanks for that. Moved back to Washington, had an 88 c1500 yard truck for a while…
We purchased this 2009 F250 so we could have back seats for the kids and maybe tow a little travel trailer, too.
Specs: XLT, 5.4, auto, 3.73, a couple nice optional add ins like a back up camera and the tailgate step.
The previous owner put 285 70 r17s on it, and I think they are a good size. Dent in the rear of the bed, but it’s pretty minor so I’m just glad it saved me a little money in the purchase price. Not an overly powerful truck, but I don’t want to go that fast when towing anyways.
