I've seen posts here asking if a dealer can change trim levels and it seems they can even change models. At least before the order bank closed.
Early October I ordered an F-150 Lariat and later did enough research to see that the F-150 wasn't going to be enough truck to do what i had planned. In early November I told the dealer to cancel the F-150 and make it a F-350 Platinum. I signed a new DORA for that.
Some time later the dealer asked me if I was still interested in the 150 because it had arrived.
The thing is, the F-350 still shows Unscheduled Clean with an order date of early October. when i ordered the 150. Not sure what to make of that but thought some of you might find that interesting.
Possibly, but one with the same order date as the 150 i ofdered? Seems unlikely.
What exactly are you suggesting happened? Obviously the dealer did not cancel the F-150 order, it was built and delivered, and they had to create a new order for the F-350 you are currently waiting on.
