I have personally not used the kit however have read quite a few unbias posts on the use of them and how they performed very well. I would suggest you talk to local machinists that comes with a good reputation, figure $1800 plus what 200-300 for shipping you could have a nice motor built locally for that kinda money with the same options, you could potentially purchase better heads ready to bolt down and have your shortblock machined and have a little better motor with some searching. Should something go wrong as it very well could you won't have many miles and shipping costs holding up getting the weak link fixed. Just trying to throw out a different perspective later and good luck with your engine
