That thing looks kind of crusty. Do you have water getting in there? My truck has a GEM that sits in with the fuse box and a windshield leak will cause some problems but your truck is different from mine in that department and I can't help you on that.
When you say that it has no power windows, etc. Do you mean that it does not have them or it has them but they are not working? My truck has GEM but I do not think that your does, I think it has something else. If the GEM on mine would get wet, it would produce symptoms like that.
Mark is correct. Dcboyle, your truck has a VSM (Vehicle Security Module) instead of a GEM. The VSM is located in the center of the dash behind the head unit and down a bit.
The questions you are asking are a bit unclear to me, so I will step aside for now. Good luck to you sir.
im trying to figure out what the burned out portion of the fuse panel in my picture did what does it run, operate or function.....
google search produces to much misinformation,
I was hoping some one here has already been down this road with the fuse panel and would have a idea of what my picture show's burned out and what it does.
the plug that was damaged is still not there or plugged in , so I need to find a plug/ connector and how its gets wired and or wire the wires to power or ground whatever is appropriate that are not currently hooked up. I have tested the wires and they all seem to be power leads or possibly grounds? so that why i was asking if anyone knew what that portion of the fuse panel controls???? help help help .
perhaps those wires do something with the VSM? would that cause a limp mode with the tranny ?
all my dash gauges seem to be working and reporting as they should .
