While in 4wd when stepping on the gas the trucks seems to want to pull either left or right. You will be driving along constant speed when all of a sudden it will pull left and you have to correct or it will pull right. I really have no idea of what it could be everything seems solid underneath. Any help would graciously be appreciated.

You may have an axle joint locking up. This happened to me before. To check, jack the front of your truck up and put it on jack stands (safety first). With the front axle hubs locked in 4x4 mode, turn the steering wheel all the way one direction, and spin both tires. If it fells like there is hard spots, you have a bad joint. Make sure you turn the steering wheel the other direction and test before ruling out the joints. Hope this helps

Check the radius arm bushings. Any play there will allow the front axles to pull forward slightly on acceleration and drop back when you let up on the gas. Are front tires the same size?

My axle joints are new and good....
I dunno if the front diff is posi..i know that if i mat the gas all four spin...
The front bushings could be worn but out of 4wd it drives strait as an arrow while accel...

Pipewrench,
Auto or manual hubs ? Sounds like you have one hub or the other engaging but not together . Any noises when the pull happens ? Disassemble the hubs to begin with and have a look in there to see that everything is in good shape . I know with all the salt dumped on the road in some parts of Canada in the winter that stuff will seize and rust the heck out of stuff . Good luck with it .
