6.9 won't start
My 1987 6.9 won't start. The WTS light does not go on when I turn on the ignition. Also, the water in fuel light flashes on briefly when I crank so I changed the fuel filter, refilled it with fuel and screwed it back on and also pulled the ring on the fuel water separator and no water came out. Now when I crank the engine, fuel comes out of the Schrader valve on the filter so I know the lift pump works, but when I crack a fuel line at the injector pump nothing comes out. Any ideas on a process to troubleshoot this?

are you getting power to the injector pump with key in run position?
if the WTS light is not coming on, either the glow plug controller is not getting power, is bad, or the glow plugs are bad.
