power door locks
good evening,
My 250 is an 03 quad cab, both of my rear doors locks are sticking. Meaning that when the unlock button is pressed the lock moves up, ( I can see it ). But not enough to unlock the door, I took off the panel and thought it would be an easy clean and oil job. But I don't think that is the case, there is some slack in the pivot points that I think is causing the issue. Being 20 years old and not wanting to damage this plastic clips and small parts I thought I 'd ask here before tearing them apart.
IS there a common failure item or known issue? Also good source for these PITA parts would be helpful.

03 totally different body style than 04-08, but usually get the plastic clips, at parts store, in the help section.
