I have a 2011 King Ranch F-250 that I recently did a dash pull and blend door actuator replacement on. It is deleted and tuned with a minimaxx. I reinstalled the dash, started the truck, but then realized the defrost actuator still wasn't working so I pulled the dash a second time to address the issue. When I reassembled everything the truck will crank but not start. P068a and P0884 TCM power signal intermittent showed. I cleared the codes and the P068a no longer shows but the P0084 still does. I changed the batteries to new ones, pulled the dash again to make sure I didn't miss a connection then reinstalled. Again, crank but no start. I then attempted to return to stock OEM on my minimaxx but at 99% it shows an error stating "file corrupt 02AD FDF9". I was then prompted on my minimaxx to reinstall the HS tunings. Searching the internet showed nothing other than somehow my PCM may have malfunctioned with the multiple battery disconnects and reconnects while attempting to resolve my blend door issues. Does anyone have any further guidance before I get it towed to the shop?
check all the pins for the pcm wiring harness. check to make sure none are pushed in or bent.
Doubled checked all three connectors to the pcm in the firewall and all are without damage to the pins. I also rechecked all the connectors that were removed during the dash pull and they all also show no damage to the pins or connectors.
I pulled the PCM relay and checked it as well as the PCM fuse and switched it with another one, still the same issue. Do you know of any other applicable fuses?
Somewhat conflicting data on fuel pump location between alldata and internet searches so I'm not completely sure. When I turn the vehicle to "on" i hear a somewhat higher pitch whine in the middle 2/3 of the vehicle and what sounds more like an actuator near the rear wheels.
That noise is the fuel pump working. there is also a fuel water separator under the driver side frame. If you don't know of these items then consult the owners manual. Yellow **** to drain monthly.
I think you will have to consult with your tuner provider at this point to see if they can advise.
For anyone experiencing a similar problem after $75 at the mechanic and a tow I was told somehow during my dash removal and installation I triggered the intertia switch. All it required was a reset and the truck started right up.
