vibration... need advice asap

Last night my pickup began a strange vibration when I was driving on a 150 mile trip. I took it in this morning, had the balance on the tires checked and it is still doing it. The vibration doesn't occure until about 57 mph. I think it may be a U-joint, but i'd like any other opinions you all may have. BTW it's and '83 F-150, 4.9L, T-18 four-speed, Ford 8.8 rearend. Thanks a bunch.

Could be that you are slightly out of alignmnt, the balance job prolly wouldn't fix that.

if it just started check the u-joints try putting it in neutral see if it goes awaywhen you hit speed

Thanks for all the input. Problem turned out to be the front U-joint. Not a bad fix, just bad timing.

You also can get some vibration from worn I-beam arm bushings.
