I saw this place in a post on the 48 to 56 forum. https://www.vehiclesafetysupply.com/...4.html?cPath=0 I see they have the type 9 mirrors but are listed for 80 and newer and 75 up vans. They look to be the later rounded type head. I did look in search and read this first, but the part numbers seem to contradict what I was looking for. I have type 7 mirrors on my 78 F150 that I want to change to type 9. Has anyone tried to bolt the 80's style 9 onto the rivet nuts in the door that had type 7's? Is bolt spacing the same? I know the sight gives bolt spacing dimensions but my truck is in storage right now.

They won't fit.

Get the ones from LMC. about 50.00 each.

We have had ours for a couple of years and are still happy.
