So I have a delivery date of 9/5/22 to 9/11/22. Thought I would track it on CSX. Dialed the 800 number, put in option 1. Now where do I find the or what are the car initials, and car number?

There is a sticky at the top of the page that has all of this information.... here's a link to it. However, I don't know if some things still work the same as when the sticky was started last year. Post number 6 has a description of how to get your rail tracking information, and then how to call, and even how to set up a speed dial for it. But again, they may have stopped that. I do remember you do not want to speak to a person. IIRC, this tracking service wasn't meant to be for customers like us to use, but we found a way to do so... at least for a time, and maybe it still works... Also, you will have to go to your dealer and have them pull up you VVR and get them to give you the rail car info. Some dealers have done that, but some would not... that just comes down to your dealer. But you yourself cannot get this information.

Sounds like you're in the same batch as mine. But then I just read an article about all the Rail issues going on.
The car initials per the sticky are on a delivery sheet sent to the dealer if I recall correctly.

Perhaps we are in the same proverbial boat. I had an initial estimated delivery of 8/12-8/18, then 8/24-8/30, now 9/5-9/11. I hope the rail delays are alleviated soon.
