DEF FAULT WARNING

Anybody ever have this....I've got 2017 never had any issues the other day the engine light came on in the tach display...couple miles later the warning light bottom right came on I'm assuming it something with DEF looks like rain drops and the center display read DEF FAULT...vehicle max speed 50 mph in 50 miles and that would count down and re appear every 2 miles...48...46...44 etc...truck is running perfect not missing a beat...??? Weird

Are you low/empty on DEF Fluid?

Well, there is an issue in the SCR system then, need to run a scan on it and see what's up, or soon you will just be putting along.

pull the code. mine did a weird one a month ago where it ended up being the sending unit in the DEF tank. But it never gave me the warning about going to limp mode. it "self corrected" after a few weeks of driving.
