I am making this post as I am finishing up a F1SE 302 roller block build for my '82 F150 with aluminum heads, aluminum intake, aluminium water pump, aluminum timing cover with copper radiator and heater core.
I am going to take the radiator to the local radiator shop to have the tanks pulled and have it cleaned out and I will flush the new heater core out before the new engine is installed. The question I have is what color should I upgrade to. I was thinking of switching to Global Gold as it is very forgiving with mixing with Conventional Green. I know long life orange ie Dex-cool doesnt mix with Conventional green and will turn to sludge so I know that is out of the question.
Does anyone know quite a bit about antifreeze that would work for a daily driver that will be better than Conventional green at protecting aluminum components outside of Global Gold?
