Purchased a 2017 F350 a few weeks ago. Of course, a day after getting it the MIL comes on and it’s P2201 Nox sensor bank 1. I purchased a new sensor and replaced it this morning. Cleared the codes, disconnected both batteries, and the code still comes back up. That’s the only code present.
Just got the same code (P2201) from my 2017 PSD and like you I’ve read conflicting stuff about it. I cleared the code and so far the MIL has stayed off but Im curious how your situation was resolved. There was also a recall notice on my 2017 to update emissions settings but I’m reluctant to let the Ford guys touch the truck as long as its operating well, but if this continues to come up I may have to reconsider. Also how much trouble was it to replace the sensor?
