First Kitchen Aid

Hey,

want to let you know that we have our first Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer in service.
An long dream comes true, to own one of these Mixers. It's a kobald blue Artisan.

What about you, do you like Kitchen Aid products?

I would almost KILL for one of the Kitchen Aid stand mixers. I have one of their smaller hand held ones and love it but would really love the stand mixer. My mom has one that she rarely uses and it drives me nuts. I would do a heck of a lot more cooking (more specifically baking ) if I had one at my disposal.

They are pure classic Americana. These big workhorses haven't changed since my granny owned one. Love ours. Nothing comes close for kneading dough or whipping up meringue (merange, ?? - pie topping!)

We Have one of those.....

My wife never uses it, along with a bread maker, some fancy coffe machine, food processors, Blenders you name we probably have it. There are so many food machines in our cabinets and we hardly use any of them. What a waste of money................

When my ex-fiancee was in Culinary School, Kitchen Aid was some of the equiptment they used. We had planned out a custom kitchen for her, and most all appliances were gonna be Kitchen Aid. They are good quality machines, and last a long time. They are pricey, but after all, you get what you pay for.

Sitting on my counter, under it's own quilted cover, stands the pride of MY culinary equipment, my own personal Kitchen Aid Classic Mixer, with various attachments, and it's brother, the Kitchen Aid Food Processor... I get to play chef often with the tools of the American Kitchen.....

I have yet to get a bead maker, though not eating bread anymore would make it pointless, they just seem so handy.

Other Bower wants the cobalt blue Kitchen Aid mixer too. She drools every time she sees one. To make things worse, her mom bought her sister one for Xmas last year to match her retro kitchen. (which we helped furnish...)

OB bought an ancient olive-green upright at the flea market when we moved in together. She paid 2 bucks for it, had the original bowls, and has only caught on fire once in 4 years (the back is kind of melted, but it still works!)

Ok man-Bower. Get her a new Kitchen-aid.
I have the Kitchen Aid blender and a mixer, both in dark green, and I absolutely love them. I make bread, cheese potatoes, cakes, and it makes great homemade whip cream (and it wasn't for pie) That should make all ya guys go out and buy one for the little lady now! Hehe...

Other Bower just read this and she is thinking about the mixer again. Now should I get her the mixer, or the metal detector she wants? Either way I'm in good, I think she's getting me a chrome brush guard for the Bronco.

In our family, the men do all the cooking. My brother and I each own the Kitchen Aid 325 watt version of the mixers. I've got the white, and brother's got the textured grey. They are truly built to last a lifetime!!

We have the Beautifl red one. Parents recently gave us my Grandmothers old Kitchen-Aide that she used in her restaurant during the 60's and 70's. This baby is stainless steel, still whips, beats, kneads whatever we throw at it.

If you do a lot of cooking, a Kitchen Aid stand mixer is money well spent. Bought mine 15 years ago and it's still going strong.
