That's too funny. I just made whipped cream for the first time in mine last Tuesday. And it wasn't for a pie either. Gosh I really like my mixer.

my mother is the kitchen aid queen, she redid her kitchen last year and showed up at my house with all her mixers blenders coffee maker and other stuff, and said here you can have these, i was like okay, i just figured since she was retired she didnt want to cook big meals anymore or stuff that requires he to use this stuff, well stopped at her house a week later and her kitchen was transformed to kitchen aid red, and she had a brand new 18 foot counter with every product that they put out, when i asked her what those costs as she told me each one i kept seeing parts for my truck that i could have bought lol

My wifes kicthen aid is older than our chidren which are grown. She still uses it fairly regularly. She bakes and decorates wedding cakes as a side business. That mixers seen a lot of wedding cakes in our 33 year marriage.
