2019 CCSB diesel with just under 30k. For about the past week when driving I can feel all the road bumps in the gas pedal. Doesn’t seem to come through the steering wheel, or the seat.(I’m used to the vibration in the seat being from the rear and in the wheel from the front) That being said I’ve looked at the front shocks, no obvious signs of failure, and no obvious signs of the steering stabilizer failure. Any ideas? I can feel every little bump in the pedal, feels like it rattles over bumps.
Two issues described the same symptoms as you...
Some have had luck putting the hubs in "lock" rolling forward then putting them back in "auto" and it resolves the issue. Others have replaced the lower and intermediate steering shafts and it has gone away.
I have this on my '22F450 also. Started about a week ago.
I'm going to try and climb under it this weekend and see if I can feel some play in the steering shaft. My problem is I'm currently stationed in Hawaii and am less than impressed with the dealership and their techs here, but very limited obviously being on this island. Please let me know if you take yours in, or are able to get any answers for sure.

Will do. I looked mine over this past weekend and didn't see anything. I am going to put it on a lift that my buddy has to see if I can find anything. Also gonna try the hub tip that was previously mentioned.
2019 CCSB diesel .....no obvious signs of the steering stabilizer failure.
The steering stabilizer inspection requires removal of the steering stabilizer. When cycling it in and out a bad unit from a 2019 will have excessive free play. I removed mine in my 2019 around 4k miles and found it to be bad. The only difference I noticed with the failing OEM stabilizer was more feedback through the steering wheel over certain bumps and dips. Another thing that might be worth looking at are the upper front shock bushings. I haven't experienced any issues from them, but mine are cracked and looked like 20 year old bushings within the first year.
This one talks about feeling it in the pedals.... https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1542348-accelerator-pedal-vibrates-related-to-steering-shaft-5.html

Thank you for the link, very helpful. I'm curious if you can feel play in it trying to manually move it, or if it's just a replace it and see if it fixed it.
UPDATE: Took the truck into a different dealership yesterday with an appointment. At first they tried giving the truck back over and telling me that the car seat in the back was the cause of the noise and that they drove a similar truck and the pedal felt the same. Once I convinced them to let me take the mechanic for a ride I was able to get him to hear the noise that went with the pedal feeling by driving next to a retaining wall over some minor bumps. Truck went back into the bay, and two hours later they are going to email me over a list of parts that are being ordered for it when they get them ordered. Said he used the chassis ear to locate the issue. Still waiting to see what they are ordering, service ticket just says BACK ORDER PARTS. Any clues or anyone make any headway on their issue?
By the time I do all of this checking, wouldn't be easier to just change the shocks if that is what you suspect? I don't have those problems but seeing that this is a 17 with 55 on the clock and I would like better shocks, I just upgraded. The stock steering dampner was shot but I think they found it out by taking it off and compressing it. So if I am going to take it off, might as well replace with something better.

It may be easier to just start throwing parts at it, but dont want to spend the money if its not what is actually wrong. The truck is also still under warranty and the repairs are being covered by the warranty. The text I just got back from the service department asking for clarification says" the parts are mentioned on the invoice. But as you can see from the photos there are no parts listed as ordered to clarify what theyre doing.

I change it because sooner or later, I will change it to a better one. Warranty means they dump more of the same type of shock. Not sure how to accurately check a shock without a shock dyno. I have taken out shocks that were declared good when they won't compress and extend as well as the newer ones, if at all. Bouncing it up and down, the tech thought they were ok.
the damper was replaced under a recall...still dont like it.
I replaced all the shocks with fox 2.5 , added fox 2.0 steering stabilizers and added fox 2.0 steering damper.
happy with the out come.
I replaced it because I got tired of explaining to the service rep of the week the difference between hi speed and low speed shock response and that the OEM stuff had niether.
