It can get confusing. You should be able to find your exact (or close to) numbers straight from the source.

If you weigh your truck, you will know how much payload you have available, but that trailer with the bikes is not going to add much weight to your truck. The majority of the trailer weight will be on the trailer. I don't know the tongue weight of your trailer with the bikes on board, but it can't be much so it is not going to reduce you payload by much. What do you intend to carry in the bed of the truck? It looks like you are well within your trailer payload.

that amount is of no significance.

Before pulling out identify that the trailer has brakes or the type, maybe surge brakes. Make sure they work.

That's a good call. My 6x12 (enclosed) doesn't have brakes, but it's single axle. 21' (2001) (boat / tandem axle ~5000lb total) has surge brakes and they really help. (whether towed with an Expedition or Class C motorhome...haven't towed it yet with my F250)

Not a showstopper if that size(7x14) trailer / payload doesn't have brakes, but they sure do help.

Weight sets the legal requirement for independent brakes in virtually all states. This trailer requires brakes.
